1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all event registrations, workshops, classes, and ticket purchases made through:

By registering for or purchasing a ticket to one of our events, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Event Ticket Refunds
2.1 Cancellation by Participant
If you are unable to attend an event:

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the event date are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made between 3–6 days before the event may receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event are non-refundable.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of approval using the original payment method.
3. No-Show Policy
If you do not attend the event and have not canceled within the allowed timeframe, no refund will be issued.
4. Event Cancellation by the Japanese & Korean Club
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to:

Insufficient registrations
-
Instructor illness
-
Venue issues
-
Safety concerns
-
Force majeure (circumstances beyond our control)
If we cancel an event:

You will receive a full refund, or
-
You may choose to transfer your registration to a future event.
If an event is rescheduled and you cannot attend the new date, you are entitled to a full refund.
5. Workshops with Limited Materials
Some workshops (e.g., art workshops, cultural craft sessions) may include pre-purchased materials.
If materials have already been ordered or prepared specifically for you, a partial refund may apply to cover material costs.
This will be clearly stated in the event description when applicable.
6. Transfer of Registration
If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person by notifying us at least 24 hours before the event.
Please contact us with the new participant’s name and email address.
7. Digital Products (If Applicable)
If we offer digital downloads, recordings, or online materials:

Refunds are not available once access has been granted or the content has been downloaded.
8. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters

Government restrictions
-
Public health emergencies
-
Transportation strikes
In such cases, we will aim to reschedule the event or provide credit where possible.

10. Consumer Rights (EU & Netherlands)
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Dutch and EU consumer protection laws.
Please note that under EU law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services (such as event tickets) that are provided on a specific date.
